Summit, An Earth Services Company. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Reclamation, Remediation and Risk Management (RRRM) Division as an Environmental Analyst (Competition #19-07-0316). This is a permanent full-time office position based out of either our Lloydminster, AB or Weyburn, SK office.


Job Duties: 

Your primary duties will include supporting your Project Managers by maintaining the necessary reporting requirements of various clients, completing technical report writing, performing technical report review of peer reports, notifications to regulatory bodies, organizing and streamlining project deliverables and related paper work and any other duties required by your Project Manager for successful program completion.

You will be supported by the entire Summit organization which consists of a dynamic team of Professional Engineers, Biologists, Chemists and Agrologists, technical administrators, business development professionals, and an in-house IT department.

Candidates must be prepared to work in a multidisciplinary, fast paced project team environment and able to undertake a variety of project related tasks related to RRRM.



  • A science-based University Degree or College Diploma from a recognized institution

  • Professional Designation or potential to obtain designation (P.Ag, R.T(Ag.), P.Biol, R.P. Bio, P.Eng) is required

  • A minimum 3 years of experience in the environmental industry (Oil and Gas, Energy and Utilities)

  • Familiar with regulatory guidelines and ability to assist in planning work scopes and program activities

  • Working knowledge of Alberta and Saskatchewan reclamation and contaminated sites guidelines. Knowledge of Manitoba regulations would be considered an asset

  • Excellent technical writing skills

  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and process large volumes of paperwork

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong computer skills

  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
