Summit Celebrates 13th Anniversary and Refreshes Brand Identity
Summit is delighted to celebrate our 13 Year Anniversary, and we want to thank our clients and our staff for making this incredible journey possible.
To commemorate this milestone, we initiated a strategic brand refresh to create a brand that better reflects and celebrates our evolution as a company. In February we soft‑launched our new and exciting brand identity and will continue this process throughout 2018.
Summit engaged a strategic digital communications agency in August of 2017 to research our current market and brand position. Our objective was to create a brand strategy that leverages historic success and embraces existing people, technology, and relationships while anticipating industry changes and desired growth. We wanted to improve industry understanding of who we are and what we offer across the board and create a brand that our staff and clients are proud to rally behind.
We realized through client and personnel reviews that the Summit name had excellent brand equity and resonated well with staff and clients alike. We are proud to retain the Summit name but chose to remove “Liability Solutions”. The shortened “Summit” name allows us to better represent the vast number and variety of services we offer across the many diverse markets in which we work. And to further improve our industry understanding, we added the tagline “An Earth Services Company”.
It was further decided that we would introduce a fresh new logo that acknowledges our historic successes and existing brand equity, while maintaining a future forward vision. We refined our existing mountain icon to improve our brand's clarity and perception in the market. Our new color palette works to unify our brand personality with that of our diverse staff, clients, and markets.
The last year has seen many changes and our brand refresh also seeks to clarify and unify the members of the Summit Group of Companies. Meridian Environmental Consultants was acquired by Summit in 2016 and we completed the amalgamation into Summit on May 1, 2018, making one great company under one unified brand. In addition, we rebranded SLS Environmental, our Australian company based out of Brisbane, and Remuda Energy Services under the unified Summit brand. Effective June 1, 2018, all companies now market under the unified brand Summit, An Earth Services Company.
There are many exciting changes with a brand refresh, and in addition to changing our name, our logo, our corporate palette and marketing material we are happy to launch our dynamic new website at summitearth.com.
